Implosion is a participatory performance originally created for Modern Body Festival 2016, in which audience members find themselves collaborators in a dynamic and chaotic composition. Through a series of simple and absurd questions, a variety of found objects and toys are distributed to each person for creating sound or light. Through several improvised visual cues, the performer guides the audience through the piece, creating a playful, open environment in which the audience must negotiate different modes of engagement, watching, listening, and discovering.
